We had a national holiday on October 3rd that allowed us to enjoy a three day weekend. The first day was used to visit Love Land. Since Korea lacked sexual education in earlier years, this sculpture park was created to teach newly married couples about sex. It was a unique experience.
Kat changed her mind about posing with the sculpture.
This is my “I can’t believe I hopped in this sculptures arms” look.
That evening Jeanette and I went to the other city, Seogwipo, where we booked a hotel. We met up with friends for drinks that evening. The next day we went for massages and to watch the sunset at the beach.
The entrance to our room; we had our own personal detached room.
The room was small and dome shaped which was interesting. We liked it a lot overall.
It’s common in Korea for convenience stores like 7-11 to have picnic tables outside so you can drink there.
Jeanette taking pictures of the hotel grounds.
We went to a handmade craft market; I took a picture of the road because Mario is painted on it.
We also ran into Brodie but he’s the one who took the picture.
Then we made our way out of the city to the beach.
It was a great three day weekend 🙂
