I like to keep my blog posts short and focus on the pictures.
Friday: Kelly, one of the girls from our EPIK orientation group, celebrated her birthday! We had dinner and went dancing.
Saturday: I met one of my co-teachers at school then went horseback riding. They had lunch and wine for the post-ride experience. Afterwards I was able to see my dad’s band on a live stream.
Sunday: I went to church with a student to meet his family. The student is one of the better English speakers so I agreed to join him. The sermon was tailored around teachers and students, everyone was very excited to see me. They served lunch afterwards; I will never get tired of all the eating we do in Korea.
I arrived about ten minutes early. The student translated a lot of what was being said. My name was called out three times and I was thanked for attending. After everyone wanted to know if I would come weekly but I let them know I’d be back in three weeks.
